Living Lab

How can we develop our city together?

    Cooperation, technology and (citizen/stakeholder involvement) are key drivers in the development of smart city Stavanger. The work we do includes different forms of interaction, including Living Lab. The intention of a Living Lab is to engage citizens and the local community in the development of new and improved services. The goal is to develop, prototype and test innovative solutions in real life scenarios.

    Living Lab Pedersgata

    We are currently establishing a Living Lab for co-creation and prototyping of smart city projects in the area of Pedersgata in Stavanger. This area was selected because of existing initiatives here. Additionally, the area is relevant for the strategic actions in the city centre plan: 
    - Growth in cooperation with heritage
    - Urban spaces to live in and travel through
    - Green travels back and forth
    - In the city centre
    - Room for smart solutions.
