Come join us in an unforgettable summer job, while you discover all the amazing features of the Stavanger region. We have created an arena where you can join a range of activities together with other summer workers. Why not have fun and get new friends in your summer job period?

What awaits you as a summer worker? A whole range of fun activities organized by our very own Summer Hub project leader. This year we are organizing activities every week in the period June 26 to August 4 2024. All the activities are free for the participating students.

With a kick-off on June 26, following 1-2 events every week scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays, we are sure you will have the best summer job experience possible.

How do you as a business contribute? The Summer Hub project in the Stavanger region will strengthen the visibility of the exciting companies in the region. By being a part of this project, your company will gain visibility through our platforms, which promotes summer jobs across industries. Last year’s version of this project was a pilot project to assess the interest among the business community and create a good framework that we will build further on.

Partners in the Summer Hub project are the student welfare organization in Stavanger (SIS), the municipalities of Sola, Sandnes, and Stavanger, as well as the Chamber of Commerce in the Stavanger region. The project will be a joint effort where companies pay a small participation fee per person, to cover the shared costs of coordinating the project and the actual costs of the activities.
